Mechanika has a requirement for a Heavy Duty CNC Machine Operator for their leading global manufacturing client. Role Title:Heavy Duty CNC Machine Operator Reporting To: Team Leader Role Purpose: To produce quality parts within company output targets.
Key Responsibilities To operate machines as instructed To produce quality parts to output targets To carry out daily quality checks to specified quality control procedures Ensure quality standards are met and high standards of housekeeping are maintained. Attend monthly team meetings to generate ideas for improvements. Recommendations for improvement measures. To work as part of a team Ensuring the health, safety and welfare of self and others at all times Role Related Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Personal Attributes
Qualifications or Functional Experience CNC machinery operation experience, 18 months minimum CNC Milling operation experience Experience of working to specific tolerances using basic measuring equipment Experience of working to (and achieving) specific production targets Familiarity of working to quality systems procedures and*or quality control measures to produce high quality of workmanship Previous manufacturing experience preferred Basic Numeracy & Literacy
System or Knowledge Able to follow work instructions
